American Pro Manatee Snorkel Center offers daily guided Crystal River Manatee tours for the
whole family to enjoy and have an experience of a life time. The tour starts at the shop first thing
in the morning. With good reason . . . manatees are most active and playfull in the morning. Each trip
is approximately 3-4 hrs, and if you don't know how to snorkel . . . No worries, your tour guide is in
the water with you as well as helping anyone new to snorkeling or swimming with the manatee. Also videos
your experience to be remembered and shared by your family and friends. We have several boats so as
not to crowd for more of a personal encounter. The boats have all the convieniences with covered or,
enclosed during the winter months,to protect from the elements. The guides have the experience,
environment knowledge and even put a smile on everyone's face with this unique adventure, to be enjoyed
by the entire family.
With over 16 years of educating about the manatee, National Geographic and PADI awarded our facility
the National Geographic Center in Crystal River. This award and many other local and state awards set
our standards above others.Our guides are highly trained professionals both in water skills and environment
knowledge. The guides educate on the manatees and the manners of being in the water with our gentile giants
for a fun and relaxed time in Crystal River Florida.
Oh did we menetion that even boat riders have a great time seeing the manatees... sometimes our
gentile giants are waiting for the snorkelers to get in the water to play.
